I would like to purchase a larger image than those currently available for download. Most (approx 95%) of the library images can be supplied as a file up to 50mb size. Please use the "Contact Us" box to send details of your proposed use.
What format are the photos in? All HOWARDSTOCKPICS.COM photos are in JPG best quality (Q10) format.
How can I make payment for the images that I download Please make your payment via PayPal. If you do not have a PayPal account, you can still use the PayPal procedures. The shopping cart has been set up to enable PayPal payments by credit or debit card. Just fill in a few small details about yourself. Should you wish, you will be able to sign up to PayPal afterwards. Customers who already have a PayPal account will checkout in the traditional manner.
Do you add photos on a regular basis? Yes. I add photos as they are taken, as well as continuing to scan from existing transparency film stocks. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that I have posted.
Do you supply model releases with your images? Whilst a few of my images have limited releases, these cannot currently be viewed/selected on the website. Therefore, when making your selections, you must assume that no images can be provided with consents/permissions or releases. Can I submit photos to sell? No
Do you offer refunds? Once your purchase is made I cannot offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because I offer full access to my entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for my products to be returned. On a rare occasion I will make exceptions on a case by case basis.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the HOWARDSTOCKPICS.COM photos that I download? Yes while HOWARDSTOCKPICS.COM offers great freedom and permits a wide range of uses, I do not allow the redistribution or reselling of my photos, or allow the use of my photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format. Are subscriptions avaiable? No
Is account sharing allowed? No, sharing an account is no different to distributing my materials to others. Individual images must be purchased by any of your friends and colleagues. For further information please read the Licensing information and the Terms of Use.
Why can I not see a rollover view There is a user option to turn this facility on or off, which should be visible below "view cart" towards top left of most home pages. When turned on it gives the viewer a fast enlargement of the thumbnail simply by hovering the mouse cursor above the image. However, to see a larger crisper watermarked version of the photograph, please click on “photo details” just below the thumbnail behind the rollover view.
I cannot find any Catagories The subject matter of the 13,000 images is so broad that a list of meaningful categories would be almost endless. All images are included in “The Library”, with a search slot for you to enter your keywords. This search facility is backed up by a very fast search engine which will quickly display your results.
Can I purchase an exclusive license No. All images are offered on a non exclusive basis.
Are any images available with a Royalty Free License? No
I cannot see a description/caption for the image. This information is on every "Hover View". If you prefer to have "Hover View" turned off, the description also appears below the keywords at the bottom of the Photo Details page
I am concerned about watermarks appearing on my purchased downloads. Watermarks only appear online as an aid to trace copyright theft. Images that are correctly downloaded and paid for will not include any watermark. |
